Charles is a superb guide, a real gentleman, and immensely knowledgeable about the Cape and life there.
Clara and her family hope to spend 10 days in the Cape from about 11th December, and would like to discuss what would be possible during that time.
I hope you’ll enjoy working together, and I am sure you’ll both have a rewarding discussion.
Finally back in Holland after a good flight and a silent landing on the very white, frozen and snowy ground of Holland. I want to thank you for showing me a very special part of South Africa, I learned a lot from you! I loved to visit your country and I wish you and your family all the best. I hope to meet you again once back in South Africa and will certainly recommend your very good service!

I arrived home safely on Sunday afternoon after 25 hours in the air. What a long flight but it was worth every minute of it. I want to thank-you again for making my first visit to Cape Town so enjoyable – I can’t wait to return! I will continue to look for ways how I can be of assistance to Pastor Plaatjies. Also, please let me know what resources you have as far as being able to identify a potential student that would want to come and work and attend university in America. God bless you Charles for all that you do. -
I just had a lovely email from The Gibney Family….. I wanted to thank you and Charlton and pass on their kind words.
“Charlton was extremely informed not just about the tourist sites in and around Cape Town but - also the backstory on Cape Town including the ethnic traditions, cultural perspectives, historic events that combine to make Cape Town so unique. Charlton was also very adept at getting us to just the right places at the perfect time. He is a fun loving charming guy and we enjoyed hanging with him during our Cape Town stay. “
Mark and Cindy please meet Charles Adams, my superb local guide in Cape Town. He runs a wonderful family tour guiding business and we have a superb relationship with him and his family and receive exceptional feedback.
In our West Australian newspaper we have a travel section on the weekend and each week they choose an area/town and readers send in an experience about that town or area they went, i.e.: places they stayed or a must see or do, they compile 10 or so suggestions or stories and a page of it.
This week they did Cape Town and one writer said how they did a private tour with you and they fully recommend you and a private tour especially if limited on time to get the most out of it, they listed your website so I took it from there.

Remember us? Hope this e-mail finds you well. Thank you so very much for the quality tours you gave us in Cape Town. You have a personal touch that is hard to find. We appreciate your showing us around and making us fall in love with Cape Town too. We even received the wine we ordered the day after our return and Gary is certainly enjoying it. It's so funny that the wine distributor is in California.

Dear Charles and Salome,
Thank you very much for your both mails. We have read them and also looked at the pictures. Thank you very much, For Ulla Britt and me this was a very special trip in many ways, You were taking care of us so fantastic. We will always remember when taking us from the airport to the Hotel.
To spend some days with you was great. The lunch in your house was so different and special - coming home to a SA- people; that is much more worth than many other tourist attractions. Salome has also done a fantastic lunch with her family and friends.
The day out at the Stadium sitting in front of all the bands; also this was very nice and also meet David. The surprise party at the view with all the friends, the homemade cake and the sparkling wine what a start of the day which
We wish you all the best.Ulla Britt and Per-Olof Ekström
I would like to thank you very much for a splendid job taking us on all the tours and the enormous information that you provided us. I am sure you will remember me as I always sat on the front seat and asked more questions than anyone else in our group.

Hereby I will thank you again for the township tour we made with you on Nov. 19th. It was very impressive and changed our view we had from newspapers and television. We were impressed by your concern about the Sivie Educare Centre and the work done here by the volunteers, so I send you a number of pictures we took at our visit.
Greetings from the Netherlands

Dear Salome and Charles,
Thank you for all the wonderful experiences you made it possible for us to have during our stay in Stellenbosch and Cape Town.
You organised everything from the airport with the music that was welcoming Marianne, the fantastic way that made it possible for part of the group get tickets for Robben Island and even get on board on time and many more things in a fantastic way. I myself, appreciated the day in Kalk Bay a lot too. The dinner at your place, while talking to all of you gave me a better understanding of the situation in South Africa. It was wonderful to meet you and thank you for everything during my stay.
I wish you and all your family
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
We want to thank you very much for the good tours you gave us during our visit in Cape Town and Stellenbosch.
We also thank you for learning us a lot about your beautiful country, and we hope for all people in South Africa, that is it going in the right direction, all people must have their freedom to vote and everything, whatever they are black or white.

Thank you very much for a very interesting tour.We will never forget it.
Best wishes from Germany,
We are very pleased with your shuttle service from Cape-town airport to our lodge Hemingway House. More so with your extensive excursion into the various townships around Capetown, the visit to District Six museum and your knowledge of the subject. Especially the visit of Chris Hani-school was very moving. Again, thank you very much.

Rob & Yvonne Alles-Damoiseaux,
Hi Charles, back in a rather murky cold England. We did enjoy our time with you and some of the experiences particularly the township visit were very memorable. I have been trying to send you a photograph not sure if it worked and I will probably have to wait for George to get home from school to do it correctly!
I have passed some of your brochures to Aardvark with a strong testimonial which hopefully will produce business in the future, I am sure all the family would wish me to thank you for your time with us which will remain in our memories for a very long time.
With kind regards and our best wishes
Dear Charles, How are you?
As promised I send you some of the pictures I took during our interesting tour through Kayelitsha on December 9, 2009.
We had a wonderful time in SA and our stay at Guesthouse Stellendal was fantastic. Of course we saw the differences;
Cape Town and Kayelitsha. The luxury and poverty. But also the developments, Cape Town is going to be a world city.
We only have seen a very small part of course, SA is so big. We will try to come again, there is still so much to see!
We thank you once more for the interesting tour.
Jan and I wish you all the best for 2010!
Warmest RegardsInge en Jan van Elst
Hi Victoria, I want to tell you what a wonderful trip this was. From the time we landed in Cape Town until the time we flew out of Livingstone, each day was filled with wonderful activities. We were well taken care of. Charles and Salomi are such special people and Charles did everything he could to show us as much as possible and always with patience, kindness, and a big smile. He is a great guide. I thought Cape Town was spectacular and loved every minute. The Welegelegen was just lovely and the service was excellent there. One of the people in our group drank too much and could have disturbed some of the other guests. We were told to be more quiet as some people like to sleep in. Totally understand. I hope you didn’t get any bad reports back.
